Sewing day

Sewing day means sometimes that something is broken.

This time it was my backpack. Fixing old things is important to me especially because in that way we can save a lot environment.

The fault was not big but caused troubles in action.

That's why I took the broken part off...

... and went to my treasure box. Yes, they all are recycled; collected from old clothes, bags etc. ...

... and yes I found matching one.

I had to release the strap a bit...

... to fasten the unbroken recycled buckle.

From the result it is possible to see -when pictured like this- that the buckles are not identical. But no one notices it in use.
