SeasonsGreetings

This time I stitched a small project. It is designed by Donna Kooler and is from her book Cross Stitch Designs (page 57). The book includes 333 Patterns for  Ready-To-Stitch Projects but of course you can stitch them where ever desired. I used left over 14 Count Rustico Aida (shade Oatmeal) fabric and loose end threads.

MeetingTheHedgehog

I was going through some pics on MyComputer and found something I have not show you yet. In August Nuka met very close and brave a visitor in MyGarden. We have hedgehogs every year. Mostly they have learnt to avoid the fenced area. This time Nuka found one in HerTerritory and what a noise it turn out. She couldn't understand why it stings Her nose when She just wants to find out who that weird creature is.

Hanging Wild Ducks

It is hard to say how much money or nature resources I have saved when creating these special HomeMadeCards. This time I used a picture found at an old hunting magazine. It is a picture of Wilhelm von Wright's painting Hanging Wild Ducks (1851). The background paper is from an old dictionary.

AAW Collar No1

I designed and knit a warm collar by using our own AAW snag grey yarn (40% our own ethic produced arctic angora wool, 40% FinnSheep wool, 10% arctic dog wool and 10% nylon). I used HorseshoeCables to decorate the front side.

The flap of the back side has as many stitches as the front side flap but I wanted it to stand wider and protect shoulder area better. That's why I used only the basic stitch knit when knitting. Every stitch is just knit with that on each row so it forms out this structure instead of plain and doesn't get rolled up from the edges. I also crocheted the flap edges to prevent it to get rolled up.

PinkGarden

It has come the time to make the last sachets for this season. This is the mix of fabulous scents from MyGarden&House. Especially pink rose petals create wonderful memory of the summer.

These my own design rose scent sachets are perfect to be hidden in your most secret pieces of clothes.

ThinkingAboutChristmas

I've been thinking about stitching and Christmas. I had to get on with XStitches but I can't pick up any bigger project because I do have MyStudies going on. So, on the last weekend I had some fun with LittleOnes. I used loose end threads and left over Aida 11 Count fabric (black).

This LittleXmasTree is designed by Durene Jones and you can find it at Cross Stitcher magazine issue 273 (December 2013) page 18. I used the same issue to decorate KnittingNeedleCase.

TheCuteLittleAngel is designed by Maria Diaz (Cross Stitcher magazine, December 2005, page 38). The original design includes beads and Metallic threads but I used some other instead.

These two LittleDesigns above you can find at Cross Stitcher magazine (November 2003, page 68). They are designed by Sue Cook.

UpToCleaning

If you have followed MyBlog for a longer time you know I've made also some kitchen towels every now and then. For ages the towel for MyMop has looked awful but I have not been quite sure how to replace it.

When I did TheLaptopCase I knew immediately the padding was excellent for MyMop also. I was a bit worried how difficult it is to neaten by MySerger but it all turn out surprisingly easy. Now I am satisfied with Me&MySelf. I used old but still proper towel and left over padding. That is again one more step taken to SaveThePlanetEarth.

SpringSpiritSocks

This time AtSchool I knit woollen socks by using Novitas Pääsisäinen yarn (75% wool, 25% polyamide) (100g = 200m). Pääsiäinen means Easter. I bought the yarn over a month ago. Knitting during the lectures is very practical and it really helps me to sit down and concentrate.

AAW SingleCable Socks No2

I designed another pair of AAW SingleCable Socks. On December 2016 I did the 1st pair. For this pair I used AAW snag grey yarn (40% our own ethic produced arctic angora wool ,40% FinnSheep wool, 10% arctic dog wool and 10% nylon).

This pair of woollen socks is made for the Christmas 2018 for a very special person who came into MyLife in this year at late spring. I work as a teacher but sometimes a teacher needs a teacher too.

TwoDragons

I made two more DragonCards by using Lidia Postma's book "Pojken och Draken" (= The Stolen Mirror by its English title). You can see the 1st dragon here.

This book offers fabulous pics for adventurous minds!
