YogaMatBag2

Yes, it is true, YogaMatBag2 comes before YogaMat1.

Well, hookers
(yes, hookers, those ones who use hooks for hooking, not the ones who you were thinking about)
understand why,
sometimes you just run out of yarn and it is difficult to get more.

It is my own design but I was inspired by Anna at her blog

For few years I have been thinking my YogaMats need bags. So far I had not done them because I was just thinking should I stitch one, or perhaps quilt... or just sew them... When I saw what Anna had made for her friend I knew that was something I will do too. And I think it is just fair to let you know where my inspiration came from.

I used Schachenmayr's Micro Grande yarn. It is 100% acrylic. (100g = 200m)

I am not a pink person. But I have ended up using pink in my sport stuff. Simply because I am teaching exercise in many different places on the same day so I need to get ready for the leave quite fast. To avoid losing my shoes, mats and bags I have ended up using the shades few or none use. The dressing rooms are crowded so it is easy to find your stuff if they can be noticed easily. Above all; I am a practical person. :)

I didn't make a strap because I have this bad habbit to get stuck on door handles and things like that. Not making a strap makes sure I must carry the YogaMatBag2 in my armpit which avoids accidents happen to the bag's structure.

I used the method familiar from GrannySquares so the bag is flexible and I can also carry my four soft balls in it if needed. :)

Hemisphericals

On the afternoon I did something I had promised to do. It has been waiting for the inspiration and idea how to make it true. It is up to a picture of a friend which I converted to cross stitch chart. I can't show the final pictures, but here's a peek into the project.

I had relaxing moments with roobois tea, apple pie and crocheting too.

I am still working with BlanketNo2...

...and YogaMat; which didn't give me very relaxed moments on the begin when I noticed the yarns balls were not actually balls anymore; just half balls. I had some interesting moments watching a document about Egyptian art when making it all up to full balls again. (I have no idea what happened to cause this mess...)

But at the end I ended up crocheting it more and more... Hopefully tomorrow it will be finished...

Let it Snow!

Today I had some moments with BlanketNo2 edging. It is slow but little by little it goes on...

The morning brought few snow flakes. The first snow for this autumn. I LOVE IT!!!

Later on we got some more snow flakes. See the video...

BunnyHotel

Our temperature early today.

Ooops... Just in time!

SummerCottage was closed up last night.

BunnyHotel was opened yesterday.

There's two doors to keep the frost outside.

Today morning MyGranny was invited to see the angoras. For sure she knows -with that life experience- what is a hare. These definately are not hares; so they don't interest her much at all. To her -despite they jump like hares- they smell like pets. They smell like humans. What smells like humans should never be touched without permission. So, they can not have anything to do with hare hunting. Booooring!!!

(Never let you dog alone or free with your bunnies, the dogs can get inspired by their hunting instinct. We have let her to meet bunnies several times because she is a real hunter -aged 14½years- and works with real wild game. By this age she knows the rules. But we still don't leave them in the same room without human and security.)

It was a wild night and Lulu was happy to meet the same old familiar waste bucket with the same old smells on the morning when I went to clean their boxes.

Lulu and Viola share the double sized box. The doorway can be closed up between two boxes if needed.

Rasputin lives next to the girls. It definately is the right place for him. His eco is a bit bigger than himself what comes to the other bunnies.

Gynter lives on the other side behind Rasputin. He is extremely satisfied in his own corner with his best friend MrMirror who doesn't bully him at all.

The boys had "who lives where" fight but because there is strong net between the boxes no damages were done and now they know both of them stay on their own sides, so they don't avoid or attac the edge net.

The boxes and nets seem out weak and light but they are strong and robust. BunnyHotelBoxes have been built up to keep the angoras inside and the wild outside.

On the right side is girls' old hutch which was in their SummerCottage but was taken into BunnyHotel. Free room available for more angora rabbits. :)

Autumn garden

The autumn has arrived into MyGarden.

But thats all right. I just love it.

I know the summers are full of colours but so are autumns too. I usually don't like red, but all autumn red shades I love.

This red comes from far away but still it fits well into MyWorld.

The shades of yellow definately are the autumn world.

Autumn or winter never depresses me. I just love these seasons.

Despite the warm season is behind there is still some delicates in my garden.

But to be honest; it was creepy cold evening to pick up some berries for my packed lunch for tomorrow. It blows from the north and makes the frost. Well, I still am fine because hot sauna is waiting for me.

The autumn is arriving also into BunnyBarn.

That's why BigBoys have been building and finishing BunnyHotel. Not much work left before the angoras can move in.

I have spent my Sunday enjoying about the lovely companionship of dear M. from the Farm by writting a letter for her, admiring the last flowers dear B. sent from south and staying healthy by the apples dear L. has carried into our house for several times. I feel myself so priviledged of having such a great friends around me despite some of them live totally far away.

I woke up at 5am so I had also time to crochet a bit my YogaMat.

I love apple green.

My YogaMat is pink so pink does just fine with apple green.

Pink and apple green crocheting

Despite of the busy day I had some moments with my CarryOn project on the sofa. It is bag for my new yoga mat. I need two YogaMatBags. Blue-white is for my old one and this pink-apple green will be for my brand new one. Both are my own design.

The shape begins to form out.

The bottom is green...

The yarn is -against all my habits- 100% polyacryl. No wool or other natural fibres at all. It is Schachenmayr's Micro Grande (100g = 200m).

Apple green autumn

Yes, it is autumn and the first frost mornings were up here already. But -to be honest- I have been longing for cold temperatures and cosy chilly moments.

I have started new carry on project. Oops, it's pink and apple green. And for Me&MySelf!!! No, I have not hit my head... later on you'll see these are the right shades. ;)

I needed to shorten my new jeans. It is amazing how long they make the legs to be! I doubt if anyone has such long skinny legs. Who is 14cm taller than I with similar weight???? Who really is such a zero size super model???

But, most angry I am because of it how they make the seams and machines these days. Modern sewing machines for home made purposes are too weak to cope with thick seams if you sew them in the correct way; folded like in the picture above.

That's why I do it in this way. First I neaten the edge and then fold it just once like this. This is how it looks inside...

...and this is how it looks at front side. No one notices the difference. Meaning the difference that it is not made in the old fashion school styled. The teacher said they need to be folded twice but modern machines just can't handle it! So, why not fold it just once if the edge is neaten?!

From an end to another

Here it finally is: BlanketNo2 (my own design). No, no no, don't rush. It is not finished yet. The middle part is finished. I still need to do the outer edges. Oh yeah, I have already started.

Here they are; the left end...

...and the right end. Both with opened loops.

Another pair of WarmHands

These ones go to my friend Mrs L. who brought me apples some time ago. Thanks to her friendly aid - that has nothing to do with apples- the start of this rough week was easier and faster.

My own design, similar with previous hand warmers. This is also Novita's Säde yarn; with white shade.

Picnic

Oh it was such rough week which included bad surprise with a lot of extra work. I have been very brave and at the end -when it all eased a bit but was not over yet- I was invited for a picnic.

The invitation was for Me, MyBike and treasures from Deli.

We biked through paths which sometimes were overgrown...
...dreamlike...
...or forestalled. (He removed the fallen tree so that eldery people can still keep on using this path when outdooring.)

Our picnic went on by the sea shore and tiny reservoirs.

We across several bridges.

Some of them were steady to cycle over.

Some of them were sloping and made you want to prevent falling into the cold sea.

Some of them were just tiny dam.

There was a spruce hugging a birch (what a love affair).

No, I was not picking up the mushrooms despite all the books of them tell you to pick up only the ones you know and advises you to learn to recognize the poisonous ones...

There was many charming places for your picnic.

Benches on different places...

...which were made of different materials...

...or created by log floating and left there afterwards for another purposes...
...or emptied of the boats for the winter...
We picked up this one; far enough from everything by the foggy scene.

We enjoyed about the moment and rested for a while before returning to the reality and finishing the hard extra work.

We brought home some wood for smoking which we found from the forest. We had no rope so he made one to fasten the wood.
