Thimble Cottage Needlebook

This Thimble Cottage Needlecase was something I really needed for MySelf. So I became very happy when I found out what a friend gave me as a gift. For ages I had planned to make a needle book for Me&MySelf. It is a free gift from Cross Stitcher magazine. I don't know which issue. I used sewing machine to finish the needle book and instead of stitching a heart on the roof I used pretty flower button. I neither made any fastening / closing up system because I keep it flat inside My folder where I have My unfinished stitching.

TeddyBear NeedleBook

Do you remember the TeddyBear I stitched from le idee di Susanna magazine (issue June 1998, page 80)? Now I designed this NeedleBook decorated by TeddyBear. (Two years ago I made Strawberry NeedleBook. I think I should make more of these...)

This one is red and white...

...and it looks very pretty indeed.

It is a gift which I will send away!

Strawberry NeedleBook

So I decided to make -instead of a card- a needle case from that Strawberry cross stitch kit.

The needle book can Hold&Hide many needles.

The pages can be turned.

I used cute apple button...

...and a cord that can be twined around the button to close the book.

I used lace for decoration and green felt to match with strawberry theme.

NeedleBook design is my own but Strawberry design is from CrossStitcher magazine issue 110 June 2001.
