He made and interesting discovery on internet in 1.7.2024. That's why we started to seek more information about the American photographer / photo reporter Carl Mydans. He traveled in Finland during the Winter War to get pictures for LIFE's January 1940 issue. It was a huge surprise to notice he had photographed several Forest Sami people in their traditional costumes. We found online archive which feels like winning in the lottery because everything he photographed was not published on the magazine.
