This is really getting very interesting. Meaning this recycling project to use old abandoned books by the library for my card making. Meaning the books the library sells out to make more room for new ones. Meaning the old boring abandoned books none wants to read anymore. Today I noticed I have learnt a lot with this project about the authors or illustrators I'd otherwise perhaps had never crashed at.
This time I used Lambert's Birds of Garden and Woodland by Alan F. Mitchell. The book is illustrated by Terence Lambert. It was published in Finnish already on 1977. I've seen art work of Terence Lambert but I actually never knew it was him.
The picture of Eurasian Sparrowhawk is from the book. The apple tree blossoms are from a free commercial mail I received last spring. This card is for DearB's birthday; to be given with PaddedPenCase. Today was time to make her card. The card was inspired by the incident I saw today. I was just about to go for a walk with my dog. When we stepped behind the house towards the street we saw Eurasian Sparrowhawk to catch a House Sparrow. It all happened right behind MyAppleTrees. I've seen Eurasian Sparrowhawks many times in MyGarden but never to catch anything.
