Weekend Adventure

Last weekend I was in Rovaniemi. We stayed in City Hotel. The location was perfect, right in the  middle of the city centre. The breakfast was good and enjoyable also for persons like me who need to follow strict gluten free diet.

In the past I have lived in Rovaniemi for 6 years so it was interesting to be there as a tourist. :)

My dear River Kemijoki is also there.

Lumberjack's Candle bridge is one of the things Rovaniemi is known.

Here begins the main street. Life happens elsewhere too but the street Rovakatu is the traditional central street of Rovaniemi.

Zoning of the city can be a bit weird if driving. It was originally designed to the form of the reindeer horn so what else it can be than confusing...

We went to see the musical at Rovaniemi theater which bases on the book Angela's Ashes written by Frank McCourt. It was really good and interesting direction.

The autumn views were white-blue and shady.
