The Cross Stitch Book by
Dorothy Wood is a stiff package of information and designs. If you can afford only one stitching book this might be The One; if you have a magnifier. The only minus factor of this book is small text, small pictures and small charts, There are far too many things and words on the pages. This book should be published in bigger format. Without magnifier it is not suitable for people with impaired sight. Otherwise it is very eligible opus with sections of Celtic and medieval, Traditional, Folk art and Contemporary designs. There is also section of Introduction which includes also history and guides for stitching.
This is published on 2000 and available at second hand with low cost.
