This is not a real fur but the same simple ideas work with this one too. At first you need to draw the pattern on the back side. Then you need a sharp knife.
Prick carefully through the fabric or leather. The idea is to cut the fabric or skin, not the hair. This method reduces a lot the hair trash to spread all over the working place. If you cut by scissors you cut also the hair. With the knife you can avoid cutting the hair. That makes the seams invisible because there will not be shorther hair.
When you have cut the pattern pull it gently away.
Do not use pins for leather because they leave holes when taken out! For fur you can use them, because the remaining holes can't be seen through the hair. Use -for example- paperclips instead for leather.
I was making ears and tail. So I needed to turn the inside out to get the front side visible again.
The cat loved it.
Looks almost like real. :)
I decided to stitch the fur on the ears so that they can be removed when ever wanted.
