For my VerySecretKnittingProject I try out Novita's new lehto yarn (48% acryl, 32% polyamide, 10% wool, 10% mohair) (100g = 136m). Hmmmm, very interesting yarn. Perhaps even adorable. I fell in love with this shade and it immediately inspired me for the project. We'll see how this yarn will survive through my demanding challenge... It is my own design and I bet this yarn was not created for this kind of project but but but... why not try out!

TubeScarfNo2

Here it is; TubeScarfNo2. My own design especially for MissL. It is a simple styled tube scarf like TubeScarfNo1 I made earlier. They differ from each other by the yarn and edge. 

For this scarf I used Novita Rose (70% acryl & 30% wool, 50g = 190m).

The yarn is fluffy, soft and light. 

There is many ways to use this scarf.

There is a bit of romantic style for a young, blond & beautiful Swedish girl.

Gardening & Crocheting

 

Today the wind brought the first whisper of the autumn that is waiting for its turn to step in. No yet, my love, not yet. But still the spirit which the sea wind blew into my garden made me to need my scarf and woolen blanket when having a nap in my hammock on the terrace.

I need to believe the signs that whisper about the autumn are cause by dry summer; not the season.

I've been spending my time in all kind of bushes.

But I am not in a hurry. They stay fresh as long as they grow there -if we are not having a frost.

Tiny apples try to grow big.

The flowers are still enjoying about their life. When one fades the other shines.

This is a very simple style of a gate in my garden to keep the dog in the fenced area.

It is not a storng fence but GrannyDog is smart and knows it is there just to show her where to spend her days.

I must confess I still am not yet such a good rider that I would not need a whipe sometimes. I was worried and planned to buy new one because it had started to twine open. He was so kind that he fixed it with intelligence and fly tying lacquer. Can you see a simple knot? He twine the cord, made the simple knot and secured it with lacquer. Easy way to save 10€. :)

I have been crocheting. It is going to be a gift for MissL.

She is going to have a special day in a week. My project for her is progressing well.

I am already working with the details and finishing. Soon you'll see it ready.

Baby Carriage

Before getting into the point I must tell you -which you might already know- MrGynter is VerySpecialBunny. He has even his own visitors! So again he got stuck into his tiny box and was carried all the way from BunnyBarn to RoomService. Which is actually just 350 meters. It was a wonderful FridayNight with V&V Team so we say BigThankYou!

Today I met very inspiring person and I remembered what I had forgot. Did you know that before DigiTime I upholstered several baby carriages?

It was actually a school project.

Which all I did by my tiny little hands.

It included a lot of theory and much more practical work.

Here's some fabric samples. Those two on the left are hand dyed.

Blue and yeallow plus many other shades. Beautiful arctic dreams.

That project led me also to the local news paper.

Upholstering a baby carriage is not as easy as upholstering an IKEA Klippan sofa but you can use the same idea.
