I designed and used our own
AAW snag grey yarn (40% our own ethic produced arctic angora wool, 40% FinnSheep wool, 10% arctic dog wool and 10% nylon) and Nykälän Lanka's Amanda (75% wool, 25% polyamide) (100g = 200m).
I usually knit just the basic style woollen socks because they are for the real life use; not just hanging around in the house by the fire place and making pretty pics. This pair is for a hunter to be used in the wild & real life. When He messes them up in swamp mud in duck hunting none's heart will be broken and the feet will satay warm despite they are wet.
