BookBag No4

Today's BookBag has similar but different shade ribbon than BookBag No1 and BookBag No3. As you can see it is just a matter of opinion which you prefer to be the best shade for the similar fabric. It is very reasonable to buy several shades if you happen to find a ribbon at low cost and can't decide which is the best! Especially if you don't have any special meaning for it when buying.

I was in Tallinn, Estonia on last December. Partly also to get craft materials.  I visited famous & huge craft shop Karnaluks.

BookBag No3

For Her second BookBag YoungLady chose the same fabric with another lovely ribbon. In Her opinion RoseRibbon and this one look great with this fabric. For Her third BookBag She needs another fabric and another ribbon. And THIS was My 2nd option for Her BookBag gift!

This ribbon is similar but with different shade than BookBag No1 has.

BookBag No2

Another BookBag. This is for YoungLady. It is actually Her NameDay gift. We have always celebrated NameDay in the family by serving a cake or something sweet and a small gift for children.

I decorated Her BookBag by RoseRibbon. I have wide collection of ribbons. It was a bit difficult to choose which She'd like best. But because She needs more than one BookBag I decided sew one as a surprise and let Her choose the ribbon for the rest. When I showed Her MyCollection She had chosen this one and the one I will show you later...

BookBag No1

My friend -DearFox- introduced Me something very practical which existence I had no idea at all. But I considered it one of the most genius ideas. It is also a low cost gift to make... And fast one too. You can use just a pretty fabric; I included ribbon I bought from Tallinn, Estonia.

It is a bag for your book to keep it safe and tidy. It has no value or meaning to people who don't read. But the ones who read and carry their books around and have a book always with them know how precious gift this is to protect your most important item -which actually is not your smart phone.

Gluten free CranberryCake

It's been a long time since I shared MyGlutenFree recipe with you! We really must change that. This CranberryCake is easy and you make it upside down.

Pour over the cake baking tray (17 cm diameter)
1dl dried cranberries
1dl coconut flakes

Foam by electric mixer
200g butter
2dl sugar

Keep on mixing well and add in the following order
3 eggs
½ dl cocoa powder
2 tea spoon baking powder
1 tea spoon rum
2½-3dl gluten free flour mix (I use Semper FinMix)

Pour the dough over the cranberries and coconut flakes. Cook in 175 Celsius degrees approx 50 minutes. When ready, remove the side edges of the baking tray, turn upside down on a serving tray and remove the lid of the baking tray.

AAW SingleCable HandWarmers No7

So far this is the last pair of HandWarmers decorated by SingleCables. They are my own design but get inspired by your own imagination. Notice that with all these HandWarmers I have used 12 stitch on each needle (4+1 needles for knitting so it makes 48 stitches all together). I used 3 size knitting needles to make each pair. Each pair has also been photographed OnMyOwnHands. When you look at the pics you can see how the size and look varies depending on the used style. If you are not sure about the user's hands / arms, you can create a bit loose style like I have done with few.

Each pair includes "ThumbPart" because it keeps the thumb -of course- warmer but also because if you have arthritis or/and just do a lot by your own hands it is important to protect also your thumb from the cold. (Especially the lower thumb joint gets easily painful, like the muscles between the thumb and the wrist area too.) When you keep them warm and pamper by pure wool it prevents further problems.

Made of AAW.

AAW SingleCable HandWarmers No5

Here we go again! Fluffy angora HandWarmers. I never brush them to rise up the angora effect. It happens during the time on its own so why to see the trouble?

My own design.

Our own AAW yarn.
