HM Hermanson's Yule Markets

On the last weekend (29. - 20.11.2014) there was Christmas Market at HM Hermanson.

It locates in Old Town of Haparanda, Sweden. It has always been idyllic but lately a bit forgotten because IKEA and others at the other side of the small town.

There was happenings...

...and characters to crate the spirit but amuse children too.

It was the official time to open the ChristmasSeason at shops.

The market of the craftsmen was organized with a great spirit of nostalgic feelings.

The old storehouses were fixed for crafters to sell their products. It was the 1st time the inner ward buildings were open for all the people to come and see how they look.

This was our stand. Look how lovely they had decorated the walls by using old signs and posters they had found! There was no heating but that was just ok if you had enough clothes on like I did. :)

There was also cooperative Osuuskunta Meän Markkinat which has been working since 2001.

From Juide Design's FaceBook site you can see more picture's of her pretty home design products.

Raijan korut sells interesting recycled jewellery. She uses spoons but also old coins which have no collector's value. Here is just one photo of her large collection.
