Draining sap

I have finished five of six bunnies. (My own design.)

Granny doesn't like about bunnies in HerGarden.

She'd rather have it all back to her. But she doesn't bother bunnies. She just seems to think they could be returned there where they came from.

With BlanketNo4 I was finally able to start the edges. WOW! Far too many stripes if you ask me. (My own design.)

We needed to cut down two rotten birch in the garden before moving the angoras.

We decided to drain sap from the stump.

This is how it goes. It is possible to drain it from growing tree too but then it happens on a different way. (Draining sap should happen always without damaging the tree and you should have a permit to do so.)

Warm moments

On the morning when I woke up the thermometer showed just zero Celsius degrees. But I had some warm moments crocheting BlanketNo4 which is missing just 3 more stripes; white, green and red.

I stitched one more bunny and was not worried at all about my angoras and Continental Giant.

On the morning I found Sandy with angoras; all in the same nest of course. Here she is "apart" but to be honest; she has been in the middle of them all and also under. Aunt Lulu loves her and they all accept her and warm her up. Continental Giants are not sensitive to cold; but at the end she is just 8 weeks old kit.

Poor Sleipnir wants to play with Sandy but she is far too furry and gets hot too easily when chasing nimble Sandy.

BunnyHouse

 Here peeks Viola.

She loves her new home.

So does Sleipnir...

...and Pernilla.

May I introduce Sandy... She is the reason Aunt Lulu is busy again. She is exactly 8 weeks old today. She is Continental Giant and moved into our BunnyHouse with angora girls.

She is tiny now but will grow bigger than angoras.

This is HayDragon.

So delicious. He did it just for MyRabbits. It all is eatable.

Despite today was TheBigMovingInDay, everything is not finished. But here you can see parts of 2 x 3 meters (6m2) BunnyHouse area and 3 x 3 meters (9m2) outdoor fence area.

HomeDecorationMoments!

Here comes the access to outdoor area.

At the FrontDoor there must be a fence to prevent rabbits to escape.

He removed some panels and replaced them by different kind of iron nets. This way the air condition works but the other animals (birds, cats, dogs, foxes...) can not get it and the rabbits can not get out.

Three friends

A little bit of crocheting...

...and few stitches of bunnies.

BunnyDays

Over Finnfoam frost insulation sheets He placed two layers of tar paper.

Over that we poured 163kg (yep, 163kg) straw pellets (2m x 3m area).

Ta-dah! Old rattan magazine table does just fine as a hay feeder. I got it as old and used, ready to be burnt up! Thank you. Trash Treasure!

The snow escapes from the garden very fast now when it is sunny and few plus Celsius degrees.

These were found hiding under the snow. The wood is for the new BunnyHouse outdoor fence.

It is Lulu's second time this spring she thinks she is going to have kits. But hey, not true. Soon she will get something else to think about.

Aunt Lulu is so bustling to take care of little kits Sleipnir and Pernilla. They are now almost 6 moths old and still she cleans them up daily... well, several times per day. Soon they will move into BunnyHouse. It is going to be very exciting indeed.

Sleipnir is at front. White ones are from the left to right Lulu, Pernilla and Viola.

Today there has been a bunny in my stitching too.

CityCountryLife

I am missing MyDearHobbyHorses. Been there on March 23rd for the last time. It has been so busy but finally on the next week I should be there again. Can not wait!

Instead of sleeping my flowers can start to wake up now. Today BunnyPoo was needed. As you can see, there still is snow in my garden. But some places are now open; like this flower bed. I fertilized it after planting few more bulbs which I bought yesterday when having well earned day off with DearL.

My AppleTrees got their portions too. I know they love it like they have loved PonyPoo.

Early morning I went with Him to hardware store to get some material for his occupation...

...which today was to carry everything out of my GreenHouse...

...clean it and make the ants to disappear...

...and place Finnfoam frost insulation sheets.

Meanwhile I was sorting it all out and planting few more seeds...

Later on we drove 25km to the country side to see MyMom. She had some old magazines for me. Oh, I can not wait a rainy day to hide under a blanket and enjoy these with a mug of tea.

At Mom I noticed an old bag I once gave her as a gift. I realized I have no pic of it so I had to use my mobile phone a bit. For sewing this bag I used hand dyed fabrics...

...and stitched a pretty picture of le idee di susanna magazine (October 1999, page 14). It is amazing that you can forget what all you have made but when you see it you immediately remember from where the design was! I had no troubles finding that old mag and have few fabulous moments with it. On that time I was very poor and having a change to buy such a mag was a very special and cherished moment.

But at MyMom was something else for me too. A delivery from HomeFarmer! 30 happy eggs!

I love these CountryEggs. Different sizes and shades; tiny and huge. I don't mind. I just love them. They are so tasty stress free eggs! (Thank you again, DearJ.)

Two men

I don't collect TeddyBears but now I do have two of them. Just a special gift for me; Gunner and AirMan. :)

My BloomSurprise goes slowly on; as does Vole hunting.

It gave me also another surprise. Can not wait to see will it succeed!

I had just few moments spare time to crochet few more stripes. Incredible; the end comes closer and closer.

Next stripe color!
